Wow..another breathtaking chapter....You never cease to surprise me!!! The way you describe the relationships between the characters, the action is simply amazing! You are an awesome writer! (Not that you don't know that already :P)
By the way...can you believe that Kanga is the name of my math book? (Right now I am supposed to do my homework for math...I opened my e-mail and found out that a new fantastic, long waited chapter appeared...Of course I decided that math could wait a little...Imagine my surprise when I discovered that Kanga is actually a charater in your story... You should have seen my face...)

I'm loving this story a little more with every chapter. I appreciate the way you've taken the time to truly set the stage instead of rushing through inorder to get to the juicy tidbits. I love that you hint at each characters personality allowing your readers to draw their own conclusions instead of throwing it in their face as fact. Lovely story. The portrayal of both Sesshomaru and Kagome is excellent. A perfect mix of strength and emotion.

My, what a story! I only started reading it because it was one of the nominated fics and I must say, I should have read this story earlier! It very well done and I love the independent and tough Kagome you have in here (as well as sexy Sesshoumaru!). One thing though, as I was reading this story, for some reason, I was thinking of this one movie I saw a long while back called One Night With the King, or something along those lines where the king has need for a new queen and has girls come to be tested to see if they are fit to be his new queen, with one whom he becomes intrigued with like Sesshoumaru is to Kagome. Of course, the movie was very religious (though I am not of that religion) and boring as heck (it so uber boring that I stopped watching it less than halfway through), but oddly enough, the story itself was somewhat similar to this story. It's probably just a coincidence, but either way, this story is very good and I do hope to see an update soon!!!

I'm so glad you updated and wow! That was a cliffhanger if I ever saw one. I imagine that something or someone will interrupt their little head-to-head. We can't have their relationship moving forward too fast.....but we can sure make it uncomfortable for both characters.
I wonder what new test will be inflicted on the girls next?
I like how, again, you keep Kagome true to her character. She's a strong fighter, unfazed by battle, yet fiercly protectiving and caring. I can see how human males would view that as an oddity and would shy away from her. She's not the docile female of the period. She'd be constantly fighting her husband for dominance.
However, a good, strong male Youkai? Good match.

*snickers* aw horse and owner making mischief together...actually in this chapter Seishin kinda reminds me of Max in Tangled. ya know...so smart it's probably smarter then most humans and having its own ultimate agenda.
LOVE this chapter!
if Sesshomaru's beast has his way Kagome will probably be mated and pupped as soon as possible.
so...if/when Kagome is chosen as the next bride will Shippo come live with them? he'd probably make a good friend for Rin.
