That was really well done - thank you for such a great update.
I liked the interaction between Rin and Kagome, how she draws the little girl out and leaves the rest to their own devices. She's not afraid to go and do her own thing, and it draws more attention to her, even though it's not her intention. She doesn't let the situation drive her to act unlike herself. Little does she know, she is drawing attention to herself, isn't she? *wink, wink, nudge, nudge*
Obviously, she's passed his tests with flying colors, even though she's not even trying.
Looking forward to the next chapter.
Oh, and yes, the dialogue. While I love interchange between characters, sometimes a story doesn't need as much as others. Half the time you spend more effort on trying to get things across in conversation that could be done without and you lose a lot in translation. But that's only my opinion. I love what you've done with this story and the quantity of dialogue you have used is just right!

FWEEEEE LOVE THIS CHAPTER! You write so wellll this plot is coming along nicely. I can picture Kagome giving the smackdown to a few of those girls...
There are a few misplaced words I noticed, though. Like 'digging in heals' instead of 'heels' or 'grate honor' instead of 'great honor'. The only reason I mention it is because it's a peeve of mine, sorry! But AWESOME story and I will definitely continue to read!

I tihnk that far too few newer stories are getting attention in the voting, and a story like this is very refreshing. Though there were certain parts in Kagome that made me think of Kikyo, I think you made a great job in building her personality that is lovable and sooo adorable XD Oooohhh InuYasha's having a crush on our little miko, eh? XD

I have to say that I really love this story. I like the way you paint Kagome as a strong and confident young woman. Its more in character to me. I read all the chapters today because it was just that good, even though my computer was acting up(had to turn it on and off like 5 times) but thats ok because coming back to this story is worth it. Cant wait for another update. Keep up the great work.

The 'fateful meeting' was delightful! Great descriptions, and I liked the Inuyasha and Kagome were too busy fighting to notice Sesshomaru's approach.
