I can understand that, I've had to push back a lot of reading just to make sure my writing stays upfront hehe.

Thanks for reviewing The Haunting of the Manor and glad you enjoyed it. And yeah, unless you've read some of my other works on Jaken, it can be a bit hard to swallow seeing him poetic or anything more than comic relief.

I don't write even though I'd like to (no time, no patience ) so the last thing I'd do is bug a great writer like you about updating when real life has to come first. I'm really appreciative of the time and effort it takes for you to write and post your great story

As for 'non-con' I meant situations in which a character, male or female, finds him or herself in a situation where their consent to sexual activity is either dubious or completely absent. I've come across a lot of stories like that in the Inuyasha fandom particularly. Not that I'm condemning those who write/read stories with this feature, it's just not something I'm comfortable reading about in general. I'm sure there are fics that I have read (and others out there) that may have touched on this issue without making me want to stop reading (I can't name a specific one atm)but I don't like it to be a dominating feature of the storyline.

In relation to 'Stealing Heaven' specifically, I didn't find this to be an issue so please don't take offence or worry I hope I've explained myself properly and without giving offence.

It's been such a long time since you updated any of your stories that I thought you abandoned them. You have a talent in writing stories. I think you managed to capture the characters and their emotion beautifully. I'm looking forward to reading more of your stories.
