I never got to say WELCOME BACK. XD How was your Japan trip~?

The reviews weren’t anything special, but I’m glad you think so! Reviews are only left for the purposes of pleasing the author, after all. It is a very good story. The mood has this laid-back peaceful traditional feeling overall, even if it has its tension moments. I think the slow development of plot may be one of the factors that add to this feeling. This mood doesn’t match everything, but it certainly matches this story. I think it’ll help once you start getting deep into the emotions. I can only imagine what kinds of turns their relationship will take. And if it was a bed of roses, where would the fun be in that?

I’m having difficulty lately, but I think it’s not necessarily a lack of motivation, but more a lack of energy. I want to learn them and study them, but I can’t bring myself to do it nowadays because I’ve been prioritizing other things over studying (like work and exercising for my health) and that makes me somewhat sad. I feel like I don’t have what it takes to pursue learning the languages because I can’t even bring myself to study them just because I’m tired. I’ve also been trying to write several things for Dokuga, but that also doesn’t seem to be happening, unfortunately...

The Korean alphabet, to me, is really the hardest thing in the basic level. Once you get used to reading it, Korean is much easier. And then it’s mostly vocabulary. I don’t think Korean grammar is hard at all. I think it’s just the vocab. Seriously. I think it would definitely help you enjoy your Korean music more, though. With Japanese, since I’m still in the early on process of learning, when I listen to songs, I feel like there’s a lot of grammar and vocab that I need to know in order to understand the songs. With Korean, even though the amount of time I’ve been learning it is shorter, if I really listen to a song for meaning, I find that I can almost understand more than I would in a Japanese song simply because if you know the grammar, you just got to look up vocab and you can understand pretty much everything. And I don’t think I’m biased either because I love both languages. My favorites from Korean music are SS501 and B2ST/BEAST. Do you listen to them too? I’m not as into female groups because I prefer male vocals.

Definitely not! I love rambling! And rambling about food can’t fail. If I ate ginger flowers and grasshoppers every day, I’d probably be a lot healthier. But I wonder how much nutritional value is in grasshoppers...protein, maybe ? I feel like it’s impossible to have a bad meal in Japan. You should try go to Korea next time you’re there since Japan and Korea are rather close (if you can afford it, that is). The food in Korea is SO GOOD. And your list wasn’t too long. I don’t think I’ve eaten everything you listed, but it sounds delicious. I had sashimi for dinner again today. Or more accurately, spicy ahi . It’s one of my guilty pleasures. But I don’t think it’s too unhealthy, so maybe not. I’ve been virtually raised on food like sashimi and sushi and natto and rice, but I can’t imagine what it would be like eating authentic Japanese food from Japan. As good as the Japanese food can get here, I really doubt it’s the same quality.

I really want to pick up cooking, especially if I can try and make some of these foods myself, but I have no motivation for it. When I cook with my mother or my sister, I find it generally fun, but I don’t really try it on my own. And since I’m so preoccupied with other things, I feel like trying to pick up cooking now wouldn’t be the best idea. I should get other things straightened out first, don’t you think?
