Hello everyone!!!!

I don´t know if these question was asked but what was your first Anime you have seen?

My first Anime was indeed Inuyasha. The Episode was Showdown! Inuyasha vs, Sesshomaru.
I zapped through the tv Programm and saw a big white fluffy dog. And so i watch Inuyasha. And a little bit later i bought the first two Mangas.

So what was your first Anime?

I want to say "InuYasha". Cartoon Planet had it on at like midnight and five in the morning for a while, and I was going through a period of being up all night. I was zapping through channels and I saw that part of the intro, with Kagome and the giant Ferris Wheel. I thought it was so beautiful, and started watching. So, "InuYasha" is what I want to say, but you know, back in the 1960s, there was a show called "Kimba the White Lion" that I loved more than anything... And no-one knew anime from animal crackers, but I really do think that cartoon was anime. And then there was "Speed Racer". THAT had to be anime.

I'm pretty sure that my first was "Cardcaptor Sakura." My sister and I have (old) memories of watching that and considering we always watched shows together, I'm going to assume it was that. Of course, if Pokemon counts, then Pokemon trumps all as the first anime I ever saw.

The first anime I paid any attention to was "Witch Hunter Robin." Now my screen name makes sense, doesn't it??

Not my fault, though. My daughter dragged me into it under the guise of "Mother/Daughter" time. If I recall, "InuYasha" was next, then it degenerated into me watching Adult Swim with her every week. "Cowboy Bebop," "Trigun," "Ghost in the Shell," and "Wolf's Rain" were just a few others I ended up getting sucked into.

Oh, the good old days, when I actually had TIME to watch that box with all those moving pictures!

For me it was Dragon Ball Z. When I was a kid, that show always came on Toonami right at our family's dinner time, and I remember my dad getting so annoyed because I would shovel down my food without even tasting it, just so I could bolt to the TV. I mean, THIS time, for sure, they would finally defeat Frieza, right?! (Lol, those DBZ battles went on forever...)

My first was Astro Boy. If I remember correctly, it came on after school. I'd have been 6, I think?

As an adult it was either Inuyasha or Gundam Seed, they both played on YTV late at night when is get home from university and sit to relax for a little while.

The first anime I watched knowing I was watching anime, was Wolf's Rain, I think. That was definitely one of the firsts.

The very first anime I EVER watched was the Moomins. My entire generation grew up watching them (the characters are Finnish, but the animation series was made in Japan). I was around 3-5 years old.
Of course pokemon was the next big thing back in primary school.

This was my first anime also (they did know how to drag out a fight, didn't they?)...though it was my cousins that had me watching out because they wanted me to let my son watch it. We both were hooked, followed Wiccan with much the same order of shows after that and ended up going to Otakon the following summer

Mine was sailor moon and my god, I was obsessed with it as a child, then a couple years later, that obsession became directed towards Inuyasha when I was in gr.4. Years later, Inuyasha is still my favourite and #1 anime :')

The first one I really remember was Sailor Moon. It used to come on before I left for school each morning. After than I believe it was Yu Yu Hakusho. Got my mom hooked on that (she loved Genkai). Im sure I watched some of the earlier anime that was on TV I had a brother that was 6 yrs older so I had to watch a lot of stuff I didn't really like. He-man and She-ra aren't anime (are they?)and those are the first shows I know we watched religiously.

Hm, the first anime I watched was Igano Kabamaru. I think that's what got me into anime and noodles. Lol Then there was Dragon Ball and Rurouni Kenshin. I watched Inuyasha many, many years later, actually, but it's very high on my list of favorite anime.

Star Blazers back in the late 70's, early 80's followed by Voltron (if that counts).

Sailor Moon was my first in the 90's. I think Inuyasha was after that or Rurouni Kenshin.
