Thank you for your kind review of Firelight. I'm fairly sure there will be no more to that story, unless one of the next challenges strikes me as something that can be connected. However, I do plan to continue writing for this challenge series so feel free to check for my next work.

I love your reviews! Seriously! Totally made my day. If even one person understands this story, I think I've succeeded. I'm aware that it is kind of an odd story, so I knew going in that not everyone was going to get it. I'm glad someone did!

As for the story it was inspired by, you don't need to read it to get my story. It was in reading "Broken Promises" that this story was born but it is not a continuation of that story at all. My story is set in an AU modern world... though you won't get much of the modern part of it in the story as of yet.

I'm so glad you saw all the little things I implyed in it ^.^ I really wanted to do something the exemplified the harshest parts of war since I was inspired by M*A*S*H and nam was a nasty war if there ever was one.
