Just some random girls in 27th (yes, I still consider myself as a girl, cause I have an unchangeable opinion that 'woman' is a great word just for them whom had married... Hope I can change this status soon..) with still-learning english that fell in love with Sesshoumaru in second-opinion... Okay, fist time watching 'Inuyasha', I were just an innocent elementary schooler in 5th grade with not-so-innocent though about boys qualities.

Inuyasha? Nope, never like loud-mouthed tsundere main character type boy (except Kyou from Fruit Basket, I still didn't know why).

Miroku? Who is he? An elementary school boy that has not-funny joke habits to flipped a girl's skirt? A Big No No.

Sesshoumaru? Nooo!! He crushed the image of big brother I hope I ever had!

Kouga? Persistent enough to be hated..

Shippou? Didn't count. And until now I still didn't find him cute, I even try to search stories that didn't include him to be Kagome's adoptive son or anything... Just no.

Naraku? Yeah, very funny..

Naraku's bunshin boys version? Even funnier....

Band of Seven? ......they already dead.

Inu no Taisho? Didn't have enough screen-time to be adored.

Myoga? Jaken? Totosai? Ginta? Hakkaku? ....tsk.

Souta? My little brother! Adored him, but very little screen-time..

Kohaku? My 2nd little brother! Love him! Very polite and adorable... Just needs a little more brave heart..and he will be perfect!

Kagome's grandfather? He didn't like my gallant grandfathers, so no.

Sooo..., yes, I watched Inuyasha anime, I did like it ( but did't love it, like Digimon Adventure) , but no character had had a very special in my mind, beside, in my country, Inuyasha never run until the end of episode ( ep 167), just until half of it. until I rewatched very much later, and became addicted to fanfic...

Yes, I always loved clever-honest-quiet boys! in Digimon, I love Izumi 'Izzy' Koushiro, in Captain Tsubasa I love Misaki Taro, in Naruto I love Hatake Kakashi and Uchiha Sasuke, in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED i love Athrun Zala, in Fullmetal Alchemist i love Alphonse 'Al' Elric, and of course Sesshoumaru from Inuyasha! Although I still didn't like his action toward his only sibling..

I adored twins and triplets! Always considered that if Sessh-Kag is canon in Feudal era, they definitely have alot of set of twins and triplets! I graduated from Art and Design Faculty, so of course I have some sketch of them, just still considering to post it in this site or not...

I love romance but angsty fic! Even prefer the one with some build-and-learn to love after the marriage/mating! It has its romantic side and provides a real challenge to maintain the relationship to get better and better!

Heh, no worries! I wouldn't really expect people to remember a oneshot I wrote 4 or so months ago right off the bat, lol! And I suppose a oneshot collection like Miscellany is a bit inconvenient at times for the reader, but if I posted all those bits separately I'd feel like a terrible spammer. xD So for the sake of my neat and organised mind, all these short oneshots I've done for prompts are in the same place.

I'll see what I can do for the sequel. I can't promise it any time soon, though, I'm juggling three stories on a regular basis so I feel a bit swamped at times. ^^; (On top of ShikonMiko and LAL I have a WIP chapter story for my other fandom)

Hm, I don't know, in my mind Life for Life would continue to be on the heavier side. Sesshoumaru's and Kagome's relationship there is distant much like it is in canon, they wouldn't have feelings for each other. So Sesshoumaru demanding Kagome to give him a child and Kagome agreeing out of the sense of being indebted, I think that would border on dubious consent. It would likely have similar themes that I explored a little way back in Chain except it wouldn't have the common "enemy" that would unite Sesshoumaru and Kagome and make them allies. But like in Chain, in Life for Life, I feel though Kagome would agree to be with Sess, she would (initially) do so more because she feels she has no other choice than because of her own true volition.

Hmm.. I see.. so that is your version of 'heavier side'.. I kinda simplify it much, like rape-involved or something like that.. well.. too clicked I must admit.. Of course with how you write all your story, you'll see to Kagome's emotion first.. kinda overlooked that..
Well of course you are the author! I don't have a single doubt whatever new or old theme you write will be more than entertaining! Can't wait, can't wait!!

P.S.: Kinda have some silliest thought just now.. something like Kagome's mad at Sesshoumaru because he broke his promise to... not 'come inside' for a time being.. Because his virility and Kagome's fertility apparenty is a too top notch that made them have 9 children (throw twins and triplets here and there) in the almost 20 years of their marriage/mated live.. They already tried all kinds of contraception out there but to no avail (well except for vasectomy because Sesshoumaru never wanted some stranger touch his vital organ...and maybe little afraid that the aftermath is effecting at his 'performance').. Well... She can't imagine how many (or much?) they would produce with his almost forever life-span and of course her matching life-span too..

Hahahaha... too hillarious to not share with you..

It's good to be back. I'm so glad you are still reading the story after so long. I truly appreciate the review! And I think I will be sad to see this story end as well. I don't know if I will be writing another story...I will have to see if I am inspired to do so again. It was a crazy few months for me....

Hmmm, I did a similar thing before, as one of the oneshots I wrote for the SessKag week, so I feel like I've already kinda done my take on disillusioned Kagome realising her and Inuyasha's relationship isn't working. ^^;
But I've been feeling like writing another post-canon short so maybe I could make a sequel for that?

As for LAL, there will be at least four children that I've decided on (and named!) ;D

And the last but not least, bravo for the 'at least four children'! This came to me very suddenly; Sesshoumaru always wanted to exceed his father almost in everything, well...at least in your story he'll have 2x children than his father...hahahahaha...

Oh yes! It was similiar to my request! Sorry to forgot that.. You wrote a lot of different plot in 'Miscellany' It kinda jumbled together in my head! But, it really needs sequel! Just as chapter 25 needs sequel too! Hehehe.. *so hardhead me* but not angsty one if you please...

The unrequited love oneshot - This definitely wasn't something I might usually write. ^^; But that was what the reader had requested so... -shrug- Luckily, I don't think Sess has any shortage of women willing to console him!

LAL - Ganbatte Kagome-chan is right! -hands over a box of tissues- And you're totally right, I do have a happy ending in store for them all, eventually.

The Shikon & Miko - Don't worry, the torture shall end tomorrow! ^^ Though, they may be a cliffie ending in store...

The oneshot: Hmmm...yes, I do have a supicion that indeed Sesshoumaru has a unrequited love in the end of the real stories.. of course I don't have a proof...just woman instinct.. hehehe..
Can I have a request? I really wanna see some story that Kagome tired of Inuyasha behavior after some years of their marriage (and no children too, or a child but Inuyasha couldn't have his best behavior around him or her, (but I prefer her 'cause I like the sound 'MiraiOnpu' The Rythm of Future, hehehe), Inuyasha just like his behavior around Shippo). And Kagome realize that marriage isn't some fairytales and only first love and compassion isn't gonna work alone to save her marriage... then Sesshoumaru comes to the picture!

Well the idea came after I re-watching 'Inuyasha' from the 1st episode till the end of 'Final Act'... I really couldn't stand his behavior!! I definitely don't wanna him to be my husband, nope! A friend yes, but more than that, nope, nope, and nope!! What kind of brain did he had??! Like when he climbed to reach Housenki and tore down the upper mountain with Windscar, he didn't have a single concern for his friends below!! What if they caught the debrish, fall then dead?? Ugh! And then, he didn't have some respect for elders!! Even some senile elder like Totosai worthy your respect! Not bratty behavior with your leg in their head, definitely not funny! I'm sooo iritated! A very not husband material! And my friends always say that I am a cheerful but compassionate and very patient people, 'just like Kagome' they said..

LAL: Yaaaaay!!! I know you'll give them happy ending..! I do hope with lots, lots of children coming... 'cause I can't imagine their veeery long life with only one or two or three or four or five children... (sssttt... My Mom said to my teenage-self long time ago, 'You know why our anchestor had a lot of children? Because in their time, they didn't have TV, radio, video games, computer, etc, so 'making-children' was their only game and stress-relieve...' Hahahahaha.. couldn't picture my bewildered-awkward-laugh that time ^^; )

... I'm just not as sure as to how...? ^^;

Anyway, your concerns about Kagome confronting Sesshoumaru will be addressed in the next chapter, so that's something at the least. Thank you for your all kind continued support, your reviews are always awesome.

(also the wait is almost over, I've finished the next chapter of Life After Loss and it's now waiting to be beta-read, hopefully I'll be able to update within a week. )

That's kinda weird, I thought there would have been more stories out there with a similar plotline to "Life for Life". It's cool though that you had one!

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be turning this into a longer story. I'm not big on dark stories. I can explore darker themes in short stories, but if it's a long project I'll just get depressed. ^^;

And no, sweet as some sons would be, I think Kagome has to heal and look after herself first before she will be ready to face motherhood.

That Akie's comment you quoted was more to try and show some contrast. Though both the women have gone through the same thing, the loss of a mate, their circumstances are vastly different and so are their reactions to the grief and the path to recovery.
