Uh, hmm, not sure. Maybe currency from either China or Japan. That's my guess. Maybe the yuan or yen. Not sure if these coins are still used.

r0o found them in a hidden place inside of an old piece of furniture. I have no doubt they are from the 70-80's maybe a bit older but not that much, they look l0ok worn with time rather then use when you hold them. @_@

Taiwanese currency! I think the one on the left is an antique.

Here's the one on the right:

It seems to be mirrored? I don't know what that means.

There's one that strongly resembles the one on the right here:

Momo might be able to help if I'm wrong and they're Chinese or Japanese.

I don't know what they where they're form for sure, but some of the kanji look like Japanese numbers. Like, on the one with the blossom, in the above line, I don't know the first one, but after that comes 5, 10, and 6 (I think that means 56, but i'm probably wrong, I haven't looked at this stuff in a while ^^U). And on the one with the face its the same for the first one and then after that is 2, 10, and 6 (26?). The other kanji are the same on each coin so maybe its the amount they each are worth?

But I can't be sure that that is Japanese because they might have borrowed those kanji form the Chinese alphabet or some thing.

They're definitely Taiwanese. If you read the kanji right to left the one on the right says "Republic of China Year 65". I don't know what year that is though.

I doubt their Japanese, most yen coin currency has holes in the middle of the coin.
