And not sure if I mentioned this last year, but last year was my final year of hosting the exchange. Though I will be here to help for this year, I am now handing the reigns over to Kaoruhana. All links should stay the same, including the email and the guidelines page on LJ, but will inform you of any changes.

Yes, that's the "prompt" this year. We're asking that it have no people in it, but anything else holiday related works. Hope that cleared things up.

So ummm little confused I thought we were getting our assignments on October 1st? But I never got a email.

Thank you Wiccan! And amazing work LadyoftheLemons! I couldn't put my computer away as I read it when you first sent it, much to the consternation of my airplane neighbors!

Honestly, one of my favorite things about this time of year, for the past few years or so, has been seeing the amazing stories/artwork coming out of the Exchange!

On a side note: story 2 has been posted. Once again, due to the content of the story, it would be rated MA on Dokuga, so no YIMS

I'm sure that you, as well as the other participants, can understand that LiveJournal is being a brat and preventing kaoruhana from posting ANYTHING but comments. Which, of course, is totally ridiculous AND bogging up the works here. Hairann has been working with kaoruhana but they have been unable to come up with a fix so far.

I would anticipate that kaoruhana will be posting an explanation along with ideas for getting those stories posted sometime in the very near future. She's been working her fanny off in a strictly volunteer position here, so let's cut her some slack, 'k?

Long story short, it's set that only a moderator can post and I don't have the ability to make her a moderator to fix the issue. For next year we will create another site to remove this problem.

For now, I've added the two stories she already posted as actual posts, they are member locked because they are rated MA. If you can't see them, make sure you are a member and not just watching.

As soon as I hear back from her I will start posting the other stories as well. Not sure which order she was putting them in and don't want to step on her toes.

Please bear with us with the growing pains and remember that this is the holiday season. There are bound to be some stretches of time without any posts--as there have been with me every year since I took over.

The stories will be posted before the end of the year .

The others are rated MA so they are member locked. Make sure you are a member of the group and not just watching.
