About Me

Hi there, I'm laenfante, a child of the '60's just doing my best to raise a husband and two cats. My first fanfiction was written when I was ten, and I've pretty much been writing since then...a smattering of poetry, more fanfic, a couple of original pieces, etc. Only problem is, I'm a VERY slow writer, so don't hold your breath about me posting anytime soon. I'm a better reader than writer, anyway.

I've been an Inuyasha (and Sesshoumaru) fan for years. Caught the anime on Cartoon Network ages ago and was amused enough to hang around. Maybe they'll be my next inspiration. In the meantime, I'll do my best to support the wonderful authors I've found here on Dokuga. And there are lots of you, so keep up the good work!

I am back, I am back...sorry for being a terrible friend and a terrible author here! I finally got hold of a laptop after the old one died, and found the determination to rewrite all the chapters I lost when the computer crashed. Sorry for the long wait, my dear friend!

Unfortunately, we found out that it's degenerative disk disease, and it's all over my spine from the neck down. The shots helped for a few days, but it's already wearing off, which is no surprise. But on the other side, my tailbone, which is broken in two places, is feeling much better - the doc gave me shots to deaden that area, too, and it's working real well there!

As for Illumination, it's a long three-shot, like Sweet Betrayal was, and is almost finished - I've just got the last part of the third chapter to finish. Hope you enjoy the rest of it!

Feedback from laenfante: Sorry to be so long getting back with you; I'm in Alabama and it's been a rough couple of weeks. I understand completely how painful being down in your back can be. I'm working with a frozen shoulder and two disks out of round in my neck myself. I wanna be 21 again!!
But I still LOVE your stories, and look forward to where you're taking ILLUMINATION! That last twist came out of nowhere...he he he.

Okay, seriously, this song was absolutely the best song for a song fic ever written, in my eyes. Ebony Eyes itself pretty much wrote out the story line, all I had to do was flesh it out, and add the background and voila, instant AU Sess/Kag fic that took half an hour to write.

Thank you for that lovely review of Fuyu no Shimekiri! Honestly, I wasn't that thrilled with it, because I felt my characterization of Sesshoumaru was off - but I always feel that, lol. He's such a hard character to write - that's why I enjoy my attempts to do so so much, I guess! One day I'll nail it!

Oh, I don't know about that. Originally, with Now or Never, I wasn't even planning a second part, lol. But I'm glad you enjoyed In Darkness No Longer - the readers are the whole reason I wrote it, after all!
