I haven't had a cat for several years now... And I've truly missed it. But that's soon to change... Some time in March My Girl, will be coming home with me. I found her just a couple days ago, and I can't wait! Though her name reads Penny, it will change to Athena when I bring her home.

She's beautiful; I'm so happy for you! The hubby and I adopted a pair of 8-week old kittens last June to be companions for my 18-yo blind orange tabby. He had just lost his brother to cancer, and was mourning. We were afraid we'd lose him too, until Merlin and Rowan moved in. Within two weeks they were curling up together. Here's hoping your new child will bring you as much joy as mine have!
