This is by the original IY story plot series. Some characters do not match 100%, but this is what I had in mind if it were by SessKag AU.

Shippou: Onikiri
Kagome: Nanami
Inuyasha: Mizuki
Kirara: Kotetsu
Sango: Kei
Miroku: Mikage
Rin: Ami
Jinenji: Kotaoru
Naraku: Akura-Oh
Kikyo: Yukiji
So really, only a few roles changed. Inuyasha's and Sesshomaru's, and I couldn't think of one for Jaken.

I might not have a role for everyone but I'll try. I will be using characters from FAIRY TAIL it's like my second favorite anime.
Inuyasha would be natsu
kouga would be gray
miroku would be makarov since they're both pervs
shippo would be happy
naraku would be gajeel
sesshomaru would be rouge with the whole strong silent thing they got going on
rin would be wendy
kagome would be lucy
sango would be levy
souta would be romeo
Kikyo would be porlyusika since they both seem to hate humans
I'm sure I could come up with more but I can't think of any more

Might I suggest, sesshoumaru as ulquiorra... I think he fits a lot better and he gets his arm cut off...
