Is it the infant? Naraku's heart?
Cause...once Naraku's heart was taken out...he is able to regenerate completely and gave him unlimited power.

Could this be Tensaiga?

It belonged to the Tessaiga/ Inuyasha, was taken when Inu no Taisho died, can technically give unlimited power since it can bring 100 people back to life; it heals people as we've seen from it resurrecting people; it's technically not an energy source (but it kind of is since it is a sword for Sesshomaru).
