I think the story I'm looking for is in a oneshot collection. Sess is in school, he is smaller and skinny than everyone else. He is carrying all his school books and some mean kids knock him down and laugh at him. Kagome comes and helps him pick up his things. He plans to go home and kill himself but Kagome tries to help him. He goes through his maturity and Kagome is there and they end up falling in love. It ends at graduation with him telling everyone to find someone that will be there for them. Sorry this is disjointed but that is all I remember right now. Thanks for the help.
