I don't even know if this is still around but I distinctly remember two scenes, hopefully from the same story

1. Kagome was actually found around the early 1900s or mid 1940s, she didn't age much but grew up alongside her "mother" (or father) with her "grandfather" raising her

2. Inuyasha had his tongue cut out.

Oh, and a second fic that I don't remember:
Something about naraku faking the disappearance of the entirety of edo village and kagome thinking it's like the roanoke disappearance.
