Ryuukotsusei-sama gives me the shivers as well. At least Kagome has her own little Sesshoumaru-hero to protect her. :)

Oh my, she gets to ride puppy Sesshoumaru?! I'm so jealous! Her response had me laughing too: it must be hard to ever look at Sesshoumaru in the same light again, seeing his puppy form like that :3

"Higurashi’s sadness was his enemy; her delight was his." This line is so perfect.

Poor Sesshoumaru, spending all that time (though it is not that long for him) protecting something that's his, only to find out it has been snatched by Inuyasha.

I don't really understand the exploding onto the scene (are you referring to the actual end of the canon story?), but it's so Kagome and so Sesshoumaru to do something like that :)

Oh, the suspense of not knowing is killing me, but since i feel obliged to review: love how the plot is unweaving here, so I'll quickly move on to the next chapter!

Oooh, the mystery of Kagome's past (but at the same time future -puzzled-) is unraveled! Sesshoumaru must have been so hurt when she disappeared though..

Is he possibly going to visit his good old Inumama? 

He kept the buttons of her sweater? Sesshoumaru is quite quick to catch on to the matter, for something that happened so long ago! 

Ooh, I was waiting for this! After I realized the whole 'echo' thing I went back to reread the first chapter and it made much more sense -grin- Now let's see what will happen :O

The proceedings for the festival described in this chapter are utterly fitting, and I was awed by the scene I had conjured up in my head. And then I started smiling and got all warm and tingly inside with Sesshoumaru singing for his companions. Well done!

I have the scene of Sesshoumaru barging in in his new outfit to prance in front of Kagome in my head now, so adorable! And the ear-checking thing is very sweet too, so mushy :)

Argh, I can't get over how cute Sesshoumaru is, it's melting me. Anyway, another well-written chapter (geez, my comments must be getting repetitive, but I cannot help it D: ), on to the next! Although I wonder, aren't dogs natural swimmers?

So short, but very cute.
