This is my first ever attempt at writing anything besides field reports and assigned papers. I am college educated, but I was no English major. I make no great claims to having any amount of talent when it comes to writing. My only weapon of defense is a copy of The Elements of Style by William Strunk Jr. and E.B White.

This is my catharsis.
