And you're right, I speak Mandarin. And a little Cantonese too! You see, my dialect group is Cantonese, which means that you and I (since you're from Hongkong) originated from Guangzhou in China. We might have been clan/family 500, 600 years back! You should learn Mandarin, it's pretty useful My Cantonese is really quite bad...my favorite line is "gno (LOL!) hou zong yi sek". You know what I'm saying?

YES!!! WHY ON EARTH does everyone where heels there?! And those were not kitten heels or pumps or whatever...they were what I not-so-affectionately dub "KILLER HEELS". I've seen some hobbling/teetering in them, and honestly, it's not too sexy. I was going around in my flip flops and flat pumps...lol! Did you manage to see any ganguro girls? Those with the really dark fake tans, monster-ish white makeup and peroxide-bleached blonde or pink hair. I saw them once when I was in Tokyo three years ago, and it was...*collapses and twitches* You can google "ganguro" if you haven't seen them, and you'll get what I mean.

Tokyo!!! Now I am SO SO SO envious...Tokyo is so much fun! And even though I do not dress like that, I enjoy looking at their fashion too! Especially the quirky ones at Harajuku (I cannot really find an adjective good enough for them). It's something I'd never do, but nonetheless, can appreciate. Did you spend a lot of shopping?? I practically went home broke!!O.o

I didn't know your hometown was China! So do you speak Chinese or happen to listen to Chinese music? If so, I have a little bit of trivial about myself to share with you! Do you know many of my fics are inspired by Jay Chou's song? For example, "Once upon an Edo night" just materialized in my head when I heard the song "qing hua ci", and "shi jie mo ri" inspired "Lingering". It's such a great source of inspiration!

Ahhh!! which part of Japan were you at??
I was at Kobe the entire time, though I travelled abit to Osaka and Kyoto. It was such a nice trip...I wish I could go to Japan again one day. Hope you had a great time there as well! I promise to get back to my writing ASAP, but there's so much #@*$@!^)#$* rubbish for me to deal with. But it's almost done, so I am not complaining too much.
