amy (Chapter 1) - Tue 07 Jun 2011

Sweet ending! she saw him at the last moment, good job!

PickledPlum (Chapter 1) - Wed 05 Jan 2011

This one-shot was beyond impressive. What was all that talk about you needing more practice with one-shots? You were just being modest, ne? Lol. I’ve never felt so many emotions in a one-shot before. My heart skipped quite a few times, my stomach wrenched quite a few times, my eyes stung many times and then it all ended with the biggest sense of relief ever. Must admit as happy as I was, I wanted to give Sesshy a good sucker punch to the arm… out of love, of course. :D Usually I only have that emotional pleasure with long chapter stories, hence why I usually favor reading them more, but boy did you surprise me. Though I suppose that’s my own fault, I really shouldn’t have expected any less. This is certainly one of my favorites now!

MissTeak (Chapter 1) - Sat 31 Jul 2010

Awwww my dear, this oneshot was as perfect as a oneshot could get. Oneshots are difficult to write, because you have so little space to tell a story complete with a plot, characterization and setting. On top of that, you had to incorporate the theme of the story in, which made it even more difficult.

I read this story at 1am in my bed on my iPhone, and gosh, I hate the feeling of sleeping on a wet pillow, but I loved this story too much to stop reading it. I really, really thought he died – the mental image of heavy rain, a forlorn girl waiting by the window with a scrapbook in her hands and a few crumpled letters was just so saddening. It didn’t help that I kept thinking of the movie ‘Dear John’, and that just made me sadder because they didn’t have a happy ending in the movie. Just when I thought things couldn’t get any worse, you had him send her that terrible, terrible letter with the tragic ending to the story he was telling. My heart just died then, I think. The words you wrote so beautifully resonated so strongly within my mind, and I kept thinking, ‘No, no this can’t be true’ but it just seems like he was REALLY dead. *sobs*

But thank goodness, thank goodness he is BACK! OMG you know, when the truck pulled up in the driveway, I was entertaining the tragic, morbid mental image of Inuyasha handing Kagome an urn containing Sesshoumaru’s ashes or something along the lines of that, like a tattered, bloody shirt or something. You know, typical of those Chinese soap dramas?? I read with mounting fear, honestly. Like, ‘OH GOD, PLEASE. DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN.’

I am just glad it was a beautiful ending. I was happy, sad, scared and angry all at the same time. And it is only a oneshot. That says a lot, doesn’t it? You are an awesome writer, my dear! :)

ItsyBitsySpider (Chapter 1) - Thu 29 Jul 2010

Ahahah.  Lovely!  I'm glad your's had a happy ending.  Especially considering how mine went.  Lol.  Thanks for writing!  Btw, this sentence cuts off in the story;

"Kagome sniffling quieted, and her heart began to race as she began to"

Thought you'd wanna know!

chaos_cloud (Chapter 1) - Thu 29 Jul 2010

O.O WOW. I am in a mix of emotions right now. I don't review usually, but this was a wonderful story! It made me sad, overjoyed, and angry all in the same story! Good job and continue to write more. :)

Aoi Mitsuki (Chapter 1) - Thu 29 Jul 2010

you're amazing! i thought this was gonna end up like katy perry's MV with her guy dying in war but i'm sooo happy they have a happy ending together~

i always find myself easily giving off tears when it comes to sad parts. i sooo hate tear jerkers for always making me cry but i just love feeling the emotions running around every scene. and for that i wuuuv you!

i nearly cried when i imagined Kagome going through such a loss! you're definitely going to my favorite list XD
