AND OH OH I remember that scene!!! Some guy in a little boat told Orlando Bloom (was it him??) that Jack Sparrow was in Singapore!! I was SHOCKED when I heard it - I was watching it in Singapore (like DUHHH) and my friends were equally surprised too. Like "oooh, that's pretty cool!" haha. If only Jack Sparrow was really here...I love Johnny Depp. "Pirates" was great! Have you watched Avatar?

Yay for shrimp dumplings!!! *HUGGLES* I love 'em so much - I can practically marry a shrimp dumpling. OK, bad joke but you get what I mean hahaha!! It's so good, especially when the shrimps wrapped in it are fresh and springy (overcooked ones that taste powdery are just UGH) I always say the best thing about being Asian is the FOOD. Though I can perfectly understand the horror of a dim sum overdose. I had a steamed dumpling (You know, the round white balls floating in a sweet soup) overdose two weeks ago, and it was dreadful. How coincidental that your cousin's boyfriend was raised in Singapore! I mean, it's such a tiny and insignificant place, so it is REALLY coincidental. I'm surprised people have heard of Singapore in the very first place! It takes you less than a week to tour the entire island so you can kinda imagine how thrilled I am to have lived here for 22 years LOL.

But they didn't come in a soup with noodles like the ones I'm used to eating in Singapore. Rather, they came in a curry sauce! Talk about unique! Ganguro is really quite disturbing...I don't find it pretty or cool in the least. But I appreciate cosplay a lot! I've seen some really good ones online. Do you know the anime D.Grayman? They have fantastic cosplayers in Japan who look exactly like the characters
