Thank you for your review. I'll admit it, I'm a history nerd! I love researching the history behind the story as much as I love writing it. Besides, I'm a sucker for really good historical fiction. If it's going to be historical, it better be as damn accurate as it can!

Thanks for the review on Pride of the Inu. Unlike some of my other works, she's only being seen as a goddess because that village see's Shiki is a minor deity. I'm trying to build up the world around them without making it seem trite. Glad you enjoy it.

Thank you for your review to "Dark Nights..." I am very glad that you are enjoying this story. The war will be heated, but for my own sake, and because I don't have the patience to research it all, I'll be skipping around to the major battles only. As for how Sakurashima and Sesshomaru are touched by the war: I can't give too much away, so I'll just let you know that they will be touched, but you'll have to read to see how much.

Thanks for the review. Izayoi did seem odd even to me but since she played a role in the final part it was hard to remove her completely. There was more that just didn't work with what I was writing. Izayoi is the princess of the lands held by Ryukotsusei. She supports him for political reasons and the humans do what she says. I chose to make her a little more active of an individual, choosing to help Kagome and Sesshoumaru in their last moments because at that time the two would die no matter the circumstances.
I hope that helps you understand her place in the story a little better.
