Shadow and I were just talking about this in chat and I thought it might be some fun for everyone....
What the game consists of is you post up the wildest conspiracy theory you can think up. It has to be made up (yes, I know there are are real wacky ones out there that are real but we won't go there). Be as brief or detailed as you want but keep it fun! Since we're all creative people, this should prove to be a riot!
Mine: The rabid blankets are trying to take over the world one bed at a time by brainwashing us while we sleep.

"There are strong rumors going around that gnomes in the sexy undergarment district are set to go on strike Friday morning. An unknown gnome was overheard saying that lingerie was the most neglected and abused piece of clothing ever created. LZ boy recliners (I DO NOT OWN) are being made backward now after thousands of complaints from women everywhere. The purpose is to make men's knees grow backward so they can still use the recliners.

Universities all secretly have a device that sucks energy from the students ala the negaverse from sailor moon and they various deans of the universities will come together and use the amassed energy to replace the power plants of the world, cornering the world energy market and it will eventually lead to a the world being overtaken by a grand council of university heads
how else could learning at a university/college be so utterly exhausting if not because of a deeper, more insidious plot?
