I apologize in advance if this is the wrong category for this question D:

Anyway, I am curious, what is your favourite fanart style? Original IY style, general anime style, semi-realism, realism, other?

I usually prefer a semi-realism style myself ^^.

Honestly I haven't really thought about but I like all forms of fanart which includes cosplaying xDDD (at least I think it can be included )

Personnally for me it depends on what the mood of the picture I'm trying to get across. If it's a serious picture I'll use more of a realistic looking picture with lots of detail, but if it's more light hearted I'd probably use more of an bubbly style of anime.

I dont really know if it counts as its own style or not but I love Chibi artwork.

I agree with Sir Amadeus. As an artist, it depends on my mood. I have several realism and semi-realism sketches tucked away in different sketchbooks. Since it's the hardest for me, I try to practice on those as much as I can.

Personally, the anime style is the easiest for me and is my favorite to work with. I started out trying to copy the IY anime's style, but over time I tried to deviate away to figure out my own style. :3

I'm up for anything but i prefer a style that changes as i grow as an artest, when i first was a SK fan i tried "True to anime/manga" art for SK, and it all looks funny to me.. all of it.. but now i have a bit of a more real feel to them and i think they alwasy turn out pretty nifty. and while i can do realistic, it takes more time then i'm willing to try for. i am the lazy
