Yes I agree with everyone. I find my brown eyes rather plain, and its too common in general. Blue eyes, especially in asians, seems more mysterious.

I know someone here where i'm from who has a one year old. Her husband is american but she's korean. They're baby's eyes are blue-gray. automatically reminded me of Kagome.

anyways, kagome looks.. more "unique" with her blue eyes.

i mean she's not like any other japanese girl...

jeez, she transends time through a WELL! A dry one at that.

I honestly hoped her eyes was going to be blue, but i was disappointed when i watched the first episode..


gosh... in what way is she normal? ^_^

What MS said...blue eyes make her more exotic and brown is the common eye color of most Asian people (me included)

Personally I like her eyes blue. Brown is so common, or maybe its because my eyes are brown and I find them boring... lol

I asked this before and was told that the anime people wanted Kagome to "look more normal" -- for her Japanese heritage, I assume-- and so changed her eyes to brown. In the manga, she has blue.

I was wondering about the whole Kagome's eye color topic. The manga shows her eyes as being a sort of blue-ish gray while the anime shows them as brown.

I've always preferred using the blue/gray approach.

Any thoughts?

For me, it depends on what I'm writing what color her eyes are. If it's a canon thing, I stick with blue to add to her more unique qualities. If it's A/U, I like to stick with brown.
