Uploads Not Working Correctly... 15 Years, 5 Months ago

...or maybe it's just me. I tried to upload a one-shot. Cut and pasted, everything fine, but when I looked at the story, I saw it's just one giant block of text with no line spacing. Is this a bug that needs fixed, or am I doing something wrong?

Mine did this too when I went to re-edit a one shot of mine, but I went back and wrote in line breaks.

Yuzuki, what do you mean you went back and wrote the line breaks. Do you know how to fix it so that the paragraphs have spaces between them? If so please TELL ME!! I've got all these chapters I'm waiting to post! If I don't get rid of them soon, I'll EXPLODE!!!!

If I remember correctly, you just type < b r > without the spaces for a line break, but don't quote me on that  |

PQ, would you mind emailing me a copy of the text you inserted, as well as the html it output for it? You can see it by clicking 'html' on the editor. It should automatically convert all your paragraphs to <p> elements.

You're welcome!
The story's 'update' date won't change unless a chapter is added, so you guys can edit chapters and change story properties without having the story bounce back onto the frontpage.

Go to My Stories> click 'Edit' next to your story's name, and click the 'chapters' tab. Choose 'edit' for the chapter you want to rename, rename it, and click submit. It should take you back to the story page and when you click back to chapters, the name will be updated.
I corrected a little booboo where the script won't automatically name chapters on edit/save as well.
