Alright I writing an AU and if you look it has been ages sinse I have updated. I ran into serious writers block and instead of turning out crap to keep writing I took an extended leave. Well typically life take place in Japan but the more I develop my story the more it not going in the normal Japannesse model. I thinking sinse I set my story in AU all I have to do is metion that this is a different version of earth think if you know it DBZ where yeah it earth but land is not as we know it. I want to add element of a Goddess with four aspect face and thinking that if I turn earth around like this I wouldn't have to worry so much about culture history. What trully I quess I asking is how far can I take the setting in a AU.

AU allows you to go anywhere and do anything, the only idea that's "canon" is the look of the Characters, and their names.

That's how i read it. AU/AR same thing.
