I'm looking for a story where Inuyasha wanted to mate with Kagome, but what he didn't say was that he only wanted her so she could bear his children because Kikyo couldn't. I think Kikyo was his mate all along. I can't remember if he was trying to keep it all a secret, or if he eventually explained the situation, but when Kagome found out she was approximately horrified. Enter Sesshomaru.

I'll take either way.

Can you remember anymore info on this story? Was Kagome turned into a yokai? Did Inuyasha actually mate her before she found out his true reason for keeping her? Anything at all would help. There are a few stories I remember reading like this so if you can narrow it down it would be a great help!

From what I remember, she got away (ran away?) before anything happened. I think she was still human. I believe it was a complete story -- its rare I read one that's not. And its canon universe. I hope that helps.

Hairann? I love her too! I'll have to check out her oneshots again.

The one of mine she is referring to is The Demon in Me (rated MA!) I don't think it is the one you are looking for, but just in case, in this one she finds out after they are mated and she is turned into a half-demon. The only way to break Inuyasha's hold on her, other than killing him which would kill her as well, is to mate a stronger demon. Insert tons of smuttiness .

Hi Hairann! That was a cool story. Thanks! It still wasn't the one I'm looking for though. Kagome definitely didn't go to others for help.
