Ok I swear my memory is horrible I have tried to go Back on my history but it not helping.
so it was about 10 chapter so far and deals with kagome being abused by inuyasha, she meets with shesshomaru who take her in alongside with whippoorwill and everyone else except inyasha it was a dark fic. And I rember him giving her a pack mark it was a really pretty one and shesshomaru beta was his cosion . So sheds comforts her so. Far.

I think you might be looking for Most Precious Possession by Dreamcatcher. The plot is similar to what you described.
