It was a oneshot that took place at some sort of party/gathering in presumably present times.

The gist was, Sesshomaru's father smells Kagome among the crowd, realizing she's meant for one of his sons. Inuyasha doesn't react so he calls Sesshomaru in. He almost immediately hauls Kagome away and it ends with the Inu no Taisho talking with Kagome's father.

I hope that's enough to go on. I wish I could remember more, or even if I read it on Dokuga or FF. :

ACK!!! I JUST READ THIS NOT EVEN A WEEK AGO!!!!!!! Epic Fail...I can't remember what it's called...I think it's on Spark....goes on the hunt lol.....

It was very cute. I spend the better part of today (thankfully my boss didn't see me) hunting for it.

I didn't look very hard on Spark, though. That may very well be where it is.

EDIT: I think it was Scent or the prompt was Scent or SOMETHING about scent...... *still searches*

Curse the internet for being so large and full of mostly crap that covers up the few gems!
