So I've tried looking for this so many times and never can.

Sesshoumaru take Kagome to a house inside a mountain. It's like a hallowed out mountain or a dormant volcano. Something like that. I think it starts out with him rescuing her or something of the like. It's been years since I read it.

I know that there is a home located in a volcano in the Unexpected Allies trilogy by Striking Falcon, but the rescuing bit doesn't fit.......... sorry.

I agree with Phish, it actually starts with her being kidnapped. But its the closest thing I can think of to what you are looking for. Do you have any other details that might help us figure out what the story is?

That could be it. Like I said, it's been YEARS since I read it. And all I really remembered was the house in the volcano.

I just looked and no, that's not it. This was a one shot I think. And it was written at least 3 or 4 years ago.

This is all I remember:
- it starts to rain after they arrive
- Kagome explores the house
- she takes a bath
- She looks around at the things in the house, which include some things of Rin's like things she's made for Sesshoumaru
- They are completely alone for the entire time.
