It is set in the future where Kagome and Sesshoumaru have lived through the ages with one another and have several children all grown up. I think Kagome is a demon at this time. Her and Sesshoumaru have prospered with a large company [I think] but things aren't so good in 'happily ever after'. It turns out he's cheating on Kagome and he has no real clue as to why. I think he's under a spell. Later there is this huge plot unveiled and a large battle happens and Kagome is fighting with her children and Sesshoumaru against this threat.
