Okay, so this is kind of way out there, but I've been thinking about this fanfic lately but I can't for the life of me recall what the title is.
It was completed, I know that.
Alternate Universe I think, Kagome was born into a family where the norm was blonde and she was abused as a child because everyone thought she had been switched at birth by a faerie.
She ends up saving a mercenary (Sesshomaru) from death because he killed a few men that were attacking her in the forest (possible rape?) by marrying him- marriage was also the only way to be free of her home. Sesshomaru takes her with him into his mercenary group.
By the end she's pregnant and finding out about her true parentage (Faerie child) and some really huge battle that she wasn't sure Sesshomaru would return from.
