I don't remember much of it, but I do remember an epic battle that involved I believe an all powerful Dragon youkai. It was a VERY large battle of youkai vs. youkai, The West vs. This Dragon power thing o.e;; It was set in the past and Kagome was a great warrior of Sesshoumaru's and in the final chapters there was a fight that quoted some of Gladiator's lines.

Not much to go off, I know.

I read through the second one (my fave) and it does seem to be the one you are talking about, in Matchmaker there is a battle between the East and the West, the entire Eastern Army is Dragons...so hopefully you find what you are looking for!
