I'm look for a fanfiction that was on spark for sure. It was a canon fic. Shippo is a ruler of one of the four corners of Japan, but is too young to rule by himself. Kagome is nominated for his mother and she is changed into a kitsune so she can be his biological parent at some special ceremony at Sesshomaru's castle. Could someone help me find this fanfiction?!!

Is Kagome a social worker to start off with? She takes care of Kanna and...I can't remember who else, but she gives up being a social worker to help Shippou? I might be mixing two stories, but if this is it, I mightknow which one it is..

I remember scenes similar to that in the fic Ezriee is talking about. That would be Second Chance. I know that in it, Shippou is suppose to be Lord, but he's too young, and when his guardian die, they want to appoint Kagome because she cares about him, and he trusts her.

Bound is the one where all the demons of shikon possess Kagome. I wish I could remember more about it. I've also read Second Chance recently and I know that's not it. Hmm what else was special about that story. I think Rin hated Kagome in the fic and tried to kill her so she could have Sesshomaru to herself.
