I'm looking for an older fic. In it, I believe Kagome found a grave, which was that of Sesshomaru's sister. She died after being abused by a man (demon) her family forced her to marry. She had a suitor who I think was supposed to be a friend of Sesshomaru, but he was rejected because he didn't have enough money or power. In Sesshomaru's mind, there gets to be a parallel between Kagome and his dead sister. I'm not sure if Kagome is abused (by InuYasha?) in the story, or if that is just Sesshomaru's perception, but it brings him closer to her. Does this ring a bell with anyone out there?
