Hello!
I am searching for a fic again...

Sesshoumaru has a lot of shards and wants Kagome to join him in hunting for the rest of them and leave the group behind. He has them in some kind of powerful barrier so that others will not find them. I cannot remember the rest of it. I have read so many fics that different things get mixed together, but I remember this part specifically. Thanks!

Does he do the barrier around the shikon shards in layers? And I think that kagome can't touch it so he's holding on to it? I think I know what fic you're talking about if he does...
