Try Evolution by Sarhea. I believe the scene you mention is in Chapter 4 or 5. Hope this is what you are looking for. It is in Single Spark's achives, not sure where else it may be.

I haven't read that fic in a very long time and don't remember that scene exactly. But eventually (around Part XXVII, yeah it's a long story) Kagome, Sesshomaru, and their children all end up on a family-protected den in California. |

Not sure. The whole compound/den thing reminds me of 'Hidden in Plain Sight' by Oniko, but the rest is unfamiliar. Now I want to read it too. sounds interesting.

This is going to sound a little perverse, and I'm embarrassed to ask, but does anyone remember a fic where Sess mates Kagome and she goes to live in his compound in a private family area, based on a breeding den? Sango comes to visit Kagome, and is shown into a living-room type area, and Kagome comes out to meet her. She has tried to get cleaned up, but Sess has been so attentive to her that she has a hard time getting dressed in clothes that aren't stained with... ya know. Okay. I've embarrassed myself enough here. I think it was part of a kind of long story, and I've been looking and looking for it.
