I have been reading that story, and all I can say is that I am near tears. It's terrible, but well-written and enjoyable at the same time. Why, oh why, must great authors toy with the emotions of their readers? The inhumanity of it all!!!

A month ago or so I read an unfinished fiction that started out with Kagome drunk in her kitchen after finding out her mate, Sess, had been seeing another woman.
The overall fiction has the two mated since the feudal era, but there isn't any actual story in that time period. It simply says that they've been mated that long and have... 21? Children... some number like that. Only one, who is really young, lives with them still.
After a while Kagome's mating mark starts to change and black symbols start appearing from it and down her body. The reader is basically told that if something isn't done she'll die.
Like I said the fiction isn't finished, and i think the last chapter written has Kagome confronting the woman Sess was with in a fight of some kind.
Any idea?
