Ok I read this a really long time ago and now I can't find it so here's what I remember.

It's in modern time and Kagome works as a radio talk show host for love life, I guess it's like if you're having problems with your love life she gives you advice.
Inuyasha and Kagome are together until Kagome catches him cheating so she kicks him out. Sesshoumaru is her next door neighbor and when he found out that they split up he tries to seduce her. Oh and their is a scene involving Sess and a hot tub and Kagome trying not to peek while Sess is trying to convince her to come over over the phone. Oh and theirs another scene where sess is washing his car and Kagome goes over and talks to him.

The car part you have mentioned remeinds me of a fic. Perhaps it is the one?
