A long time ago i read a sesskag fic that i belive was set in an alternate universe. I remember very little of it, but what i remember is that Sess and Kag are both inuyoukai, they are from different inu clans. Kagome doesnt initally speak the language sess speaks and they are mated. I think Kagome was from a rival clan and they formed some sort of an alliance. There were very strict gender roles I believe. Sess's mom and dad i think are both alive (the dad is definitely not 100% sure about the mom).

The rating was definitely MA. It was a pretty dark story at times.
