After the final battle, InuYasha acts out. Kagome raises the point that had he been properly raised in the first place he wouldn't have acted so badly.

The Kami agreed, Kikyo was sent on her way by them, and the Kami stated they'd be watching over. Sesshomaru and Kagome come together to raise him and Sesshomaru no longer views InuYasha as a little pita brother but a son he can be proud of.

I just read it recently and thought I notated it. I believe windows is being windows again.

Thanks for helping me find it.
