I need help finding an old fic. I don't remember much but what I do remember is that Sango told Kagome that yokai knew who their mate was through the smell/ sight of the female(I think). That's why Sango told Kagome not to bleed in front of Koga because he was pursuing Kagome and Kagome didn't want to take the chance of being mated to Koga. Eventually Sessomaru smelt(?) Kagome's blood and mated Kagome.
That's all I can remember. I know it's not much but if you can find it I'd be super grateful.
