In this story, everything is told from Sesshomaru's perspective. He is in beast form, in a kind of blood-haze. Kagome is the only one who can calm him, as she is his soul mate, which they learn when she goes to stop him from killing villages. Sesshomaru talks with his beast through the fic, and talks him through the finer points of love-making as they make Kagome their mate.
