I'd like some help finding a story, but I've only got one phrase from it and I'm hoping it rings a bell for someone out there:
"the tender, little bitch that both sides wanted."

Both sides might refer to two people in conflict or might refer to the logical vs. instinctive sides of the youkai involved.
This might not even be an SK story, it might be an InuPapa/Kagome story instead.

This phrase has been running through my head for the past day like a demented earworm. Does it sound familiar to anyone?
