Modern times
Sesshy and Kagome split moves in with Shippo
to support herself Kagome is doing a business class at uni, Shippo tries to set her up with waitressing work
Sess noses this out and sets her up with spare books at his place to help keep a secret,
eventually she moves back in while Sess is away on a business trip
fast tracking on Kags is in labour in class, the dope lecturer wouldn't let her resit their exam if she left then
Sess and inu barge in to take her home to deliver

any Ideas as to the name? please I know this story, have even written to the authoress about it, but the name escapes me

I'm quite positive you're looking for:Misconceptions and Misunderstandings by Time on my Hands.

It's rated MA (as you pointed out). I remember those scenes in this story, so hopefully this is the right one.
