Oh no, Kagome is back. Will she try to kill Sesshoumaru for what he did to Inuyasha? Can't wait for your next chapter. I can't believe that it will be easy for Kagome to forgive Sesshoumaru for what he has done.
Oh goodness! I cannot wait to see what happens next, at first, when I read that he was dying, I thought maybe you were going to make Sess live just long enough to see Kagome in her time, and then have her help him to..not die. O.o Okay, so maybe it made more sense in my head, but I digress. When I continued reading and saw her come back I was suprised, so I wonder what you have up your sleeve this time. As always this story keeps me guessing and I'm excited to see what new ideas you've come up with next for our favorite duo. :D
Taryn (Chapter 7) - Fri 01 Jan 2010
This is in my top five as far as "greatest, most interesting fics I've ever read."
It's very good, very original, and your imagery and the way you convey emotion is beautiful.
In regards to whatever this Jeff person told you, since I can't see it for myself, its actually supposed to be Tessaiga... the small "tsu" in the hiragana acts as an elongator for the "s" so it doubles up in romanji and stresses the "s" when pronounced. Its the same as it would be when writing Sesshoumaru out in hiragana, which no one really does, but >_> Then there's Tenseiga.
XD don't hate me.
Keep it up :]
This is a really good explanation of why and how demons were created. I love the story so far.
Chelsea H. (Chapter 6) - Thu 24 Dec 2009
Your story is so original and would go great with the actual Inuyasha tale. I love it so far.
What a creative and original story! Like most dog stories, it was very sad for me. I could almost picture it as a Walt Disney movie. You have a wonderful imagination...
OMG, he was born a mortal dog? That's interesting!
I was kind of thinking, shouldn't Sesshomaru's father EXPECT Sesshomaru to kill InuYasha? After his callous dismissal of Sesshy's mother, it doesn't seem like that unnatural of a decision to me. It has always been obvious that their father accepted InuYasha unconditionally, while always testing and sitting in judgement of Sesshomaru. And Sesshomaru is only supposed to be about 19 years old. Of COURSE he would want to kill his brother.
I always think Sesshomaru's father was not a good father at all... And a terrible mate or husband. Sorry Papa lovers!
Tensaiga didn't work because InuYasha's father used it on him when he was born? It is something I have thought about before...
This all fits so perfectly, I can't begin to estimate how many times I have pondered upon the relationship between Sesshomaru's father, his mother, and Izayoi. And how things developed between Sesshomaru and InuYasha. They say the simplest, most direct explantion is the preferred one, and reading the first few chapters of this story, I have to agree. It is just so simple and right, and so in line with how people think and feel.
Amazing! Excellent!
jgem (Chapter 6) - Wed 23 Dec 2009
What a great and sad story! I like how it explains DaiGin's background and why he had a "soft spot" for humans (particularly, Izayoi) as well as why he pursued power and the creation of the swords. It works for me!
Just another comment about DaiGin's name. I would run into the same problem with online dictionaries and think it is due to kanji usage. I'm sure you are familiar with how many Japanese words may be pronounced the same, yet the kanji used changes and therefore the meaning. "Dai" can mean great, as well as large, and big. It can be pronounce "dai", "tai", and "oo", depending on what other kanji it is paired with and even in what area of Japan you are in. Typically, when the kanji "dai" is paried with "kin" (gold) it becomes "taikin", which means a large amount of money (gold)---or in the name you chose it would be a large amount of silver. I have a feeling, this is what is happening with the translator. So, DaiGin can be great silver, large silver, or big silver. Anyway, my point is, your fine with what you have and it shows what a dedicated writer you are to be as authentic when possible.
Personally, the online dictionaries are best when translating kanji into english, and even then you get some pretty wacky translations.
Valore (Chapter 6) - Wed 23 Dec 2009
noooooooooooooo you can't leave it there! you have to update like now or i'll die D:

autumngold (Chapter 6) - Wed 23 Dec 2009
This is such a sad story! Good, but so sad. I really wish that Sesshoumaru's father and Izayoi could have had their happily ever after in their second lives. I guess it is good that at least they got to be together again. Thank you so much for the update to your story. I can't wait to find out how you are going to tie Kagome into any of it. Is she somehow Izayoi's reincarnation? Please post again soon! I can't wait to read more!
mary (Chapter 6) - Wed 23 Dec 2009
i think i see where you're going with this. and i guess i partially understand the premise, japan+reincarnation =Daigin's story. i get the connection. although presented this way, i find it more emotional and if ur me, that makes the picture clearer. anyway, maybe it seems disjointed now because it has been such a long time since you updated.
o.0 InuPapa... nnoooooeesss.... T^T You've shattered my image of him! ((XP not really, but that was one BIG plot twist! Nice job. *^_^*))
*GASP*!!!!!!!!!! You can't just leave meh hanging like that >.> I must know D: oooooh. I cannot WAIT for an update. Even if its a filler its another awesome chapter ^-^
You've sucked me in to another of your stories.... I really like how you did the back story to this, and i think Sesshomaru is really in character. Can't wait for the next chapet already!
jgem (Chapter 5) - Thu 03 Dec 2009
Where to start? First, let me say that I am enjoying this story as much as Remnants. It is a very different story and I am enjoying that this is from Sesshoumaru's view. Next, as saddened as I am that Inuyasha died, I thought you wrote and devised a way that was very convincing. Although, I am curious to know whether you chose to make make Tenseiga not react because in the movie, it seemed that the sword had already been used once to resurrect Inuyasha, or for some other reason. Will you be clarifying this in a later chapter?
I like the cliffhanger. Can't wait to read DaiGin's side and Sesshoumaru's reaction. Great story!
