Teyah Mckenzue (Chapter 19) - Tue 05 Jul 2016

This may have been my favorite chapter so far! This always irked me. I was like there is no way anyone could be the reincarnation of Midoriko if she used her soul to make the jewel and her soul was still fighting the forces of evil inside it. This parody is amazing just FYI.

DN Silence (Chapter 28) - Mon 10 Nov 2014

Oh and I forgot to mention bad summaries, some begging the questions, some vague, some like mehh, some like wtf.... I hate them all.  Can't ppl realize that not  being able to provide a sufficient summary will just drive the audience away from reading their stories?

DN Silence (Chapter 29) - Mon 10 Nov 2014

Okay, I'm proud to report that I have not committed any of these things. In fact, I kept these very things in mind as I browse for stories and write my own stories. And that was even before reading this parody. Apparently, I am super picky so may be that explains my aversion for chunky paragraphs that cause me headache, americanized Japanese settings, redundant povs which hurt my brain cells even more. And I also have a problem with accepting inner beast third voice thing, even though I believe that it is somewhat justified that Sesshoumaru could possibly possess this characteristic since he is a humanoid animal.

One minor thing though, I suck at diction and syntax, but have been getting better. I can't blame my self because I'm not a native English speaker. And yet, there are some stories written with horrible grammar that I just wanted to cringe at how glaring some errors are.

Thank you more putting this down. I hope young future authors will make use of some of these critiques.

UnknownRandomness (Chapter 23) - Thu 18 Jul 2013

Often I think foreign students speak English better than native English speakers because they are taught the language properly. I don't know if you found this to be the case, but when I was in primary and early secondary school, I was never taught English as a language (with the proper use of grammar and such things), whereas other countries do. But that's just my experience.

Oh dear! I have a fanfiction which has the 'same scene, different POV' redundancy! Luckily, it is in the process of being completely re-written.

I do hope you find more things to point out- this is hilarious!

UnknownRandomness (Chapter 15) - Wed 17 Jul 2013

Ooooh, this is both painful and therapeutic. I do the Kagome's POV thing... I need to stop, it's really bad! How could I have never noticed it before? Thanks- this is really helpful!

Akumi (Chapter 27) - Wed 17 Jul 2013

This one actually hit home for me. I just finished re-reading a story I wrote, hoping to eventually finish it, and found a few areas where I Americanized Japan rather blatantly. I'll have to edit it sooner now that I've had a reminder. XD

Akumi (Chapter 23) - Wed 17 Jul 2013

*Shudders* I don't even know how you were able to write this chapter without clawing out your eye and/or hair. Grammar this horrible is like nails on a chalkboard for me.

Also, I do realize I've been flooding you with reviews, but I haven't decided if I should be apologetic or if you should feel honored yet. I'll get back to you. :P

UnknownRandomness (Chapter 8) - Wed 17 Jul 2013

Thank you for doing this. Someone needed to point out some of these faults. And you do it in the most wonderfully delicious way :D

I must admit though- I am guilty of 'the vague summary'. I just have no ability to be concise.

Fabulous fic by the way.  You should be VERY proud.

Akumi (Chapter 19) - Wed 17 Jul 2013

*snorts, tries to breathe, and falls over* Not once..not once did I ever think there was anything wrong with them being a reincarnation of Midoriko! I really need to be more critical, or at least semi concious, when I read. XD Another hilarious and honest chapter.

Akumi (Chapter 10) - Wed 17 Jul 2013

You know...until I really thought about the actual age gap, or lack there of, between Rin and Kagome, I never had any qualms with Kagome taking the motherly role. Now...I feel so confused. haha I've never written a story with that scenario, but I've throughly enjoyed many with it. I just know I won't be able to read another with it again without chucking because of this story. XD

Akumi (Chapter 5) - Wed 17 Jul 2013

Oh the shame...u.u My very first fanfiction, which I will comfort myself by saying it was written at least eight years ago, was full to the brim with random A/N's. Haha. We all must grow, yes?

Akumi (Chapter 4) - Wed 17 Jul 2013

Oh this chapter was just beautiful! I haven't laughed that hard while reading a story in a long time! Sesshoumaru's last line had me in tears, it was just perfect. Awesome job! I was nervous to read this story because I know I make quite a few classic mistakes in my writing, but it's a lot more enjoyable than I first thought. ^.^

strangely-wise (Chapter 29) - Wed 17 Jul 2013

I think I'm in love with you. This is great. You are so good at writing these. I don't think I could stand to do some of them (especially the bad grammar and must of the ones with horrible cliches or logical fallacies.) Add afan fiction reader, I have seen all of these and more.

One of my favorites is what I call the non sequiter. It goes like, "Gasp! He's been looking at me all day, and now he has hunted and gives the kill to me! Must be a demon thing, meaning that he sees me as a potential mate, meaning he loves me! Even though I'm just a girl from the twentieth century, I know demon traditions because I've spent high school in the fuedal era and that has automatically gifted me with extensive knowledge by association. Hanging around with Shippo and Inuyasha also attributed to my demon-smarts because Shippo was taught everything about demon culture at his young age before he was orphaned, and Inuyasha's mother also taught him even though she was human, but apparently when you have a romance with a demon you suddenly know everything." (There is actually a few non sequiters, one where she jumps to conclusions without adequate evidence, and where knowledge is attained without a logical explanation how.)

I enjoy your work and hope you come out with more!

(PS:this is typed on my phone, forgive any autocorrected words and grammar mistakes. Haha xD )

strangely-wise (Chapter 29) - Wed 17 Jul 2013

I think I'm in love with you

Jessica Richardson (Chapter 1) - Fri 10 May 2013

I went to bed with this story up on my phone. Woke up this morning, opened my phone and was literally asking myself... "What the Hell am I reading!?".

LOL

kaoruhana (Chapter 29) - Thu 14 Feb 2013

How did I just find this?  I love it, simply becuase I understand your frustration. I can easily say that I did make the POV mistake once for a story but in my defense that was the point- the story was going to be told from multiple perspectives about multiple instances.  Still this was amazing!

Stella Mira (Chapter 29) - Wed 13 Feb 2013

I read this in one sitting. It took me almost two hours; one hour of reading the chapters and one hour of laughing in between! This was hilarious! I admit that I skimmed through some parts because I couldn't read them. You have managed to portray every single blunder plausible to perfection! I have committed some of these mistakes and will probably do so again in the future, but I teared up from laughing too much. This was excellent! Thank you for sharing :)

Selazul (Chapter 29) - Fri 16 Mar 2012

Oh dear, that was great... Absolutely amazing! It should be used as the introductory class for authors wishing to post new works on dokuga... Or anywhere @_@

theunknownchild (Chapter 4) - Tue 08 Nov 2011

This one chapter is still something I come back to read and laugh through. I was raised by a mother with a degree in English, and she pounded proper grammer and language skills into me from a young age. The lack of care for proper use of the Engligh language often amuses, worries and angers me. Thanks again for writing this parody!

fluffy_puppy (Chapter 4) - Tue 18 Oct 2011

I have not laughed this hard on only a few choice senteces in such a long time. Makes me want to go out and find a story like this. I tend to stray from those types of "authors". I read the first few lines and if it sounds good, it's good, if no then I'm off searching again. Just to boost your ego, if only a little, I'm on your page and I'm hooked!! You're awesome!!
