Niomi (Chapter 14) - Fri 01 May 2020

Who loves you? US! Thank you for a fantastic wrap to their journey. I'm glad got closure. It was sweet, peaceful. I guess that's sometimes how life works. I'm soooooo looking forward to Only Human updates and all the other goodies you have up your sleeves!!!! Wooohoo. You're amazing.
P.S. I so thought the last scene was going to be the "study" scene that Inu warned Kiyoshi to avoid. Haha. That he was going to walk in on them! But nevertheless, it was great!

Young Kagome (Chapter 14) - Fri 01 May 2020

Ovela (Chapter 14) - Fri 01 May 2020

Purple Rain (Chapter 13) - Thu 30 Apr 2020

Wow wonderful chapter. Thank you for letting us know little Hirohito and the glimpses into his relationship with Kiyoshi as well as the "uncle Inuyasha ". It was a great read with the right amount of humor. I especially like the part with seeing his mate and aspects of her personality in his son. The character development are great and the situations flow nicely in this chapter. I love that as mates they can balance each other's personalities when It comes to their parenting style. That they have the respect for eachother not to discount or ignore the other's reasoning or methodology.

On a different note, I wonder if his time with Rin taught him anything regarding children or if it's pure instinct. I may have to reread this from the beginning but I can't recall what happened to Rin. She would love to meet his kids and play with them. Has Sesshomaru's mother been made aware that he mated a miko and if so, has she met her grandkids? So many questions I know but this is so exciting I just get carried away thinking about these things after I have read the chapter. Thank you for updating and as always keep up the excellent work. I look forward to reading more soon.

Nilee1 (Chapter 13) - Wed 29 Apr 2020

Where is Inuyasha?

sesshomarupatrick (Chapter 13) - Wed 29 Apr 2020

Ah, new chappie makes my heart ache again..Teenager Kiyoshi reminded me of his father that appeared in Swords of Honorable Ruler. Cold, strong, wounds in mind from his daddy's absence. Perhaps it's much more painful than I think that his daddy suddenly disappears is even though he still has his biological father. I adore and respect my uncle like my daddy, so I totally was confused when he's gone. He wasn't a talkative person nor friendly one, but he always gave me and his guests warm receptions in his way whenever I visited him. I found him suffering from a chronic disease after his death. It still hurts. I don't think Kiyoshi understands problems between his daddy and his father yet, but he grew up enough to understand the difference of "Daddy" and "Uncle" anyways. Inuyasha has to stay by Kiyoshi's side at least until he reveals covered facts by himself. Obviously Inuyasha wasn't best husband nor daddy. However I'm sure Kagome and Kiyoshi love him so much even he left them like now. Hope you didn't kill Inuyasha. ;[

++ I'm sorry to say this, but I feel bad everytime I see new kid's name, Hirohito. It's a name of an ardent leader in World War II, one of the most terrible wars in human history, and killed many of his own people and foreigners..T_T Could you change his name? I don't want remind myself of a war criminal when I read one of my favorite fic......It makes me terribly dizzy. Please consider about this.

Young Kagome (Chapter 13) - Wed 29 Apr 2020

Purple Rain (Chapter 12) - Mon 27 Apr 2020

Bravo, I really enjoyed this chapter. The closure with Kikyo was well written and it was nice for them to have a non violent confrontation. It made total sense for both  women to finally get thing off their chest and acknowledge their mutual respect as well as an understanding of the other's point of view regarding Inuyasha. The final realization that they both have so much in common that their lives are parallel.

Such a time jump while I can see serves the plot to move the story forward, I would have liked to learn more about the second son and how his father's constant absence has affected the dynamic between the siblings and Kagome. Will we get to see this in later chapters? For instance, has Kyushu spoken of his papa to this younger brother whose never met him? Dispite not being the bio-dad, Inuyasha was a big part of Kyoshi's life, there is no doubt that he was loved by the child, so how is he managing with all these changes so quickly? Will we get to see the parents address these concerns w9the pups?

Sesshomaru ordering his unborn pup to be a girl scene was too precious. I'm glad he acknowledged his feelings about his brother and wants to find him for his own peace of mind and not just solely because he promised his mate. I'm also happy to read that Kagome gook Kikyo's advice to not neglect  Sesshomaru.

Overall, I have to say kudos again on a work well done and I look forward to reading more soon. Please keep up the excellent work.

Young Kagome (Chapter 12) - Sun 26 Apr 2020

This is sooo good! I always wanted to read a story of them fighting over her. This is perfect. What happened to him!! I think he wanted to give her her wish of a family and took himself out of the picture. Anyways please update soon!

Ovela (Chapter 12) - Sun 26 Apr 2020

I really liked this interaction between Kikyo and Kagome, with their mirroring love lives. I think you struck the right balance in trust and vulnerability between the two. Kiky?'s advice to Kags about not taking Sesshomaru for granted made me even like her a bit. Can't wait to see how you wrap things up!

LibraCourt (Chapter 12) - Sat 25 Apr 2020

Loving it. Readlly wonder where Inuyasha went.

Misha (Chapter 11) - Thu 23 Apr 2020

Please update soon loved it.

Purple Rain (Chapter 11) - Wed 22 Apr 2020

Thank you so much for this chapter. It was like poetry. Thank you for letting me see the love between them. It was very bittersweet. I especially loved the parallel comparison of the shikon jewel to her heart and their honesty with one another. I think I finally get it. Thank you for letting us partake in this journey. I loved it so much. The part with them crying was so touching that I was moved. I'm really glad Kiyoshi is okay but I'm impressed that Inuyasha may have planned this as recompense for his "crimes" against his wife. Or he could just have taken this as a chance to fulfill his own infadelity. Maybe a final goodbye to Kikyou or drowning his sorrows with another woman in a different territory. But the most obvious conclusion could be that he went down the well to say goodbye to her family. Or perhaps to start a new life. Either way I say kudos on a great chapter, story and expression of creative ideas.

Please keep up the good work and I look forward to reading more soon.

Mecca (Chapter 11) - Mon 20 Apr 2020

Oh. Oh dear. I shed real tears over this one. Which isn't too much of a big deal as I'm a big cryer and my hormones are all aflutter being preggers and all. But this. I love that Sesshoumaru actually shed tears, as the emotion was so overwhelming, letting her know how he feels while they're doing the deed. What I just don't understand is why Kagome is being such a martyr this time around. They had come together because Inuyasha was being unfaithful in the first place - so I am assuming Kikyou is still "alive"? I am hoping that Inuyasha's disappearance was planned - perhaps he went away with Kikyou somewhere because he doesn't want to stand in the way of true love (he would be such a big-hearted guy if that were the case). I am hoping (?) that Sesshoumaru didn't have Inuyasha killed... I don't think his honor would allow him such since he refrained from forcing a mating bond on Kagome. I would figure he would want her to choose him not because she forced him to, but because she truly wanted to be with him above all else.

The smut scenes. Yours are some of my favorite. While I enjoy myself some dark smut scenes where there are some noncon flavors every once in a while, I have always highly enjoyed yours. The difference from NLMD is that it seems a bit more personal now. Not as rushed (not that it was rushed in the first place but maybe a bit more piecemeal, if that makes sense), but it really depends on the context with the story you're writing. You've done everything from super serious lovemaking (from this most recent chapter of That Night) to humorous but still sexy smutty (Caught Between a Rock and a Hard Place), to adult entertainment sexy smutty (Stripped Bare). It shows that you're very versatile and don't stick to just one brand of smut and that's awesome and super talented of you.

People are going on and on about how flawed these characters are, and they certainly are just that. Flawed. No one in this fictional tale is perfect, and I don't think anyone ever claimed to be. Kagome was unfaithful. She was vengeful and spiteful. She was selfish and self-seeking. She hurt Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru both. She is definitely not the perfect and kind-hearted woman everyone likes to make her out to be in this particular tale. Sesshoumaru has a cruel and cunning side but since he actual found true love, he could never bring himself to harm Kagome, because he is steadfast in his beliefs like that. Indeed, Kagome is the flawed one and the weak link here - maybe because she's from the future and isn't as innocent as someone who lived their whole lives in the past? Regardless of the reason, Kagome is the way she is in this story. Continuing to bring that up - comparing her to what we would do as individuals just doesn't make a lick of sense to me. I am glad about one thing though, it's that Sesshoumaru seemingly has impenetrable honor, and because of that, everyone has to act accordingly.

All that being said, you're amazing and wonderful. I know writing all of this and your other stories for our entertainment takes A LOT of time. I am amazed by your creative writing skills and your insight and interpretation to how these characters can be portrayed. I very much appreciate you and thank you for everything that you've done thus far with keeping us all entertained during these COVID bullshit times. I am always here to support you, lady! Let me know if you need a friend IRL! I'm pretty friendly! Don't believe me, ask the dishes! (Beauty and the Beast reference lol) I'm also pretty damn corny too. BUT the one thing I will guarantee is that I LOVE SESSKAG. If you need personal input on anything, please don't ever hesitate to ask. I need to wrap this up because I'm at work and have been sitting on my ass too long lol

Cheers. Be safe.

Niomi (Chapter 10) - Mon 20 Apr 2020

Wow, Susie, where do I begin? I just read from beginning to your most recent update. I want to begin by addressing why theres a part of me that isn't fuzzy and in love - which has nothing to do with you or the quality of your story. Your story is different. The characters are different. While there's been many amazing pieces written over my time of reading - they all have a similar feel. I can accept the direction you took. I like this Sess, his love is respectful, mature and selfless. Sometimes I think it's out of character, but you pull me back with certain moments. As much as I want Inu out of the picture, being a possesive freak, I also like his character. Thank you for that. He's a good man thats really trying his best. Let's face it, we would never willingly, or easily, let go of our love even if we felt like they love/deserve to be with someone else. Its natural. To be honest, I blame Kagome. She's being a little selfish here. You can't love and have both. Maybe it's just me, but I truly believe its black and white. There's all kinds of love, but never the same love twice. Put your big girl pants on and make a decision. The fact that she said Sess can hurt because he's stronger? That's so disrespectful and heartbreaking. I like the slow burn and patient Sess, he seems to be ok with the long game but I can't help but feel like he deserves better. I am totally bias and giving Sess a pass. Yes, he's a borderline home wrecker but his efforts are making up for it. It's that saying, if your wife cheats on you, it's not the other mans fault. Anyway, at least that's how I feel. Sorry if it's not constructive, I hope it was entertaining at least. I haven't read any of the other reviews but you must be invoking a lot of emotions! Bravo. Keeping doing you! This dramas got me dying a little but just like Sess, Im just waiting for their happy ending! I'm trying to be mature about it! Haha

youthfulmusings (Chapter 11) - Mon 20 Apr 2020

Such a random thought but I really hope they have a little girl! I feel like she would have Sesshomaru wrapped around her finger (: Such cute family moments to be had.

That being said-- I think Inuyasha planned to leave. He isn't as clueless as some may think, and he knows Sesshomaru loves Kagome. I'm sure he suspects Kagome's feelings for his brother as well.  I think Inuyasha's selfishness initially got the better of him but now he's trying to make things right by leaving. Did he overhear their confessions of love? Who knows? (Still... kinda sucks how he went about it. But I'm such he will be forgiven... maybe, lol)

Marika (Chapter 11) - Mon 20 Apr 2020

Am i a horrid person for wishing something has happened to him and he will never return? Probably but who cares he has to goooo

Amy (Chapter 11) - Mon 20 Apr 2020

I like your story, and I like your version of Sesshoumaru. At first I couldn't fathom him crying at all, but I kept reading, and then I started thinking that maybe a single, painful, heavy tear had to be there to convey his pain and his longing at that moment, I also did show his weakness, which is the same we saw with Rin, in the anime, when he thought he'd lost her forever.

I'm sorry for Inuyasha, and I have a strong feeling he wanted to just disappear.

Can't wait to read more.

Thank you for your story.

Hugs

Emily (Chapter 11) - Sun 19 Apr 2020

I think this is the first story I've ever read with a tearful Sesshoumaru and I LOVE IT. I'm really enjoying this story and I cant wait to see how you resolve this conflict. I liked the style of your smut scene in 'never let me down' and the aftermath discovery in the next chapter. I think both styles are great. Hoping for a mating this time but always enjoy reading all your SeeKag stories!
