I'm very glad you did give some background info on Kagome's life up until this point. As for sending the readers into the unknown... I do that all the time and have received many a 'death threat' if I don't update. LOL! In all seriousness though... It seems so far that Kagome is a bit of an outcast. I'm also curious as to what her 'job' is that you're referring to. It's a good start and I hope to see the next chapter up soon.
