About Me

I am a proud Navy wife and mother of two living in the Pacific Northwest. I am not currently working but spend an inordinate amount of time volunteering to mentor and teach Navy spouses. I love reading especially non-fiction, debating philosophy and politics intelligently, the Green Bay Packers and history. I am a stereotypical geek girl and proud of it!!

I am a huge fan of Inuyasha, Bleach, Trinity Blood, Code Geass and Blood+. My daughter and I enjoy cosplaying and attend Sakura-Con in Seattle every year to live out our anime fantasies.

I am an unabashed liberal who is also old and experienced enough to keep an open mind on most topics.

I truly believe that Sess/Kag is the OTP pairing for Inuyasha and love writing about them. I have only recently summoned the courage to begin posting my stories.

Knowledge, reason and logic are the greatest tools of mankind.

I'm glad you liked it ^-^ As to why Kagome's considered a bit of a jinx...I decided that, even though she wouldn't be a miko, she could still have some type of 'power' (in a very simplistic, barely there sort of way). The easiest way to describe what she can do is by saying it's a bit of common sense and the ability to understand personalities. Getting to know her friend's boyfriends, she can pretty quickly judge whether the relationship is either going to do well or tank. While she sees this as a helpful thing, her friends just get annoyed by it (because 9 times out of 10 she's right.) Hopefully that clears up the beginning of the story for you! I've been toying with the idea of adding to it, but we'll just have to see if the plot bats come attack me again... Thanks! Clio
